We spent the night with a lovely Swiss family - friends of the Echimendias. Unfortunately, we didn't get a photo. We were too busy talking! We left their home and drove through the countryside to Lucerne, stopping at a small cheese factory along the way. We bought a little wedge of cheese there that was the best cheese we've ever had. Lucerne was beautiful but hard to navigate when you can't read the signs....
Then we found a sweet little town on the lake named Brunnen. We spent the afternoon there before heading to the Hotel Steingletscher for a warm night's sleep. Good night!
