The house of Judith Henry who died at the age of eighty-five. She was the first civilian casualty in the Civil War.
Arwen enjoyed seeing the cannons!
The grave of Judith Henry.
The Stone House, a temporary hospital for both Union and Confederate soldiers.
We enjoyed skating...
Then Lorien got a little bit carried away and attempted a back flip
The Graffiti House, which is supposedly haunted by the ghost of Michael Bowman, was Lorien's favorite part of the whole trip. The graffiti was made by soldiers who were hospitalized here.
A part of the graffiti on the walls.

That all looks really interesting! Y'all are seeing quite a few historical things. One of my favorite books is about the Civil War. When Lorien becomes conscious, tell her she must not get so carried away! :)
Love,
Lizzie
What a wonderful trip and outstanding book report. If your Mama doesn't give you an A+, we want to see her grading system. Lorien does need to work on her back flip landings. Your Papa and Grammy sure have two beautiful granddaughters!
